Baby Cows are popping out now!

Hello everyone!

I hope you guys were able to have a great week! Sister Hulme and I were able to be witnesses of some amazing miracles!!

So there are baby cows everywhere here and it is so awesome! They are the cutest little things! Mom and dad.... I want one ;)

Before we get into the good stuff, I want to share a few funny things that happened this week. So this winter has been very mild (so I have been told) compared to others. Because of that, it rains in the day but it freezes at night... leading to ice... you can probably guess where this is going. We fell... hard ...at almost the same time! It was great. I'll send a video of me showing you guys my bruise!

The next one was kinda funny and scary... so the past couple of days it has been raining but not freezing so that leads to mud. Now everyone has told me how to drive in rain and snow but no one has told me how to drive in mud and I think it's one of the scariest! You drive and your car just starts going sideways and you can't do anything really! And on top of that... walking in it is not very fun either! That being said, I love the rain! I think I would rather have the rain than the snow so I am blessed!

On to the good stuff, the miracles!

The first one happened last p-day. We have been asking one of our recent converts since he's been baptized of who he thinks needs to hear the message we share. He had been telling us about his friend for awhile but said that she wasn't ready yet for the missionaries. Another member called us and said her friend wanted the missionary lessons and it ended up being the same person! We were able to teach her that day and I guess the member who called us read 1 Nephi 6 (tree of life) and just felt strongly she needed to share that with the friend we were able to teach and she ended up studying the scriptures into the night. During the lesson she said that the Book of Mormon is the next step from the Bible and she committed to being baptized! I am so excited for her and to be able to be apart of her journey in coming closer to Jesus Christ.

The next one was later in the week when we went on splits and our appointments fell through and we could not find anyone that we had planned. Earlier that day we knocked on this random door and he was not interested but he told us to go see his friend. When we had no where to go we tried to go find this friend. We knocked on the door and this lady answered and come to find out, Sister Gaston and I a few months back had talked to her in the park but did not get any contact info because she was in a hurry. Anyways she said we were able to come back before she left on a trip for a month but we found her after months!

So Sister Gaston and I were teaching this man for awhile but had to drop him before Sister Hulme got here. His wife died after a long fight with cancer and we had the opportunity to go to her funeral. It was a small funeral and it was heartbreaking to see our former investigators son so upset about losing his mom. Afterwards our former investigators son said that we are invited over anytime to his house and we will be seeing our former invesitigator this week. I really hope they let the Saviors Atoning sacrifice heal thier hearts from the lost of their loved one.

Another miracle we saw was with another former investigator. We were able to see her and she wants to be baptized and wants to learn more! We were able to put her back on date. I hope she really let's us come over and teach her all the lessons!

I love you all so much! I hope you guys have an amazing week! I know that God lives and that loves all of us infinately!

Love,
Sister Lacey
